Pemimpin Bijaksana

Rasulullah SAW tersenyum sambil menggeleng, “Tidak wahai Umar, Alhamdulilah aku sehat.

“Mengapa setiap kali engkau menggerakkan tubuhmu, kami mendengar seolah-olah sendi tubuhmu saling bergesekan?” Umar memperlihatkan ekspresi wajah prihatin, penuh kasih saying, dan khawatir. “Kami yakin engkau sedang sakit wahai Rasul.

Wise Leader

Once when the Prophet Muhammad with his companions completed the prayer in congregation, Umar ibn Khattab one close friend of the Apostle who was in the front rows was disturbed mind. Every movement of the Prophet Muhammad in front of the friends feels heavy and difficult. Audible sounds are so striking as his joints rub against each other each other. Prayers this time feels much longer than usual.

After the prayer, `Umar who was so worried about the condition of the Prophet came to him. Carefully Umar sat on the side of him that he was immediately greeted with a smile. "O Messenger of Allah, we look as if you were to suffer a very heavy, sakitkah thee, O Messenger of God?" Asked Umar. Prophet Muhammad smiled, shaking his head, "No, O Umar, Thank God I'm healthy.

"Why every time you move your body, we listen as if your body joints to rub against each other?" Omar showed facial expressions are concerned, loving saying, and worry. "We're sure you're sick, O Messenger.

Although the condition is rather weak and somewhat pale, the Prophet Muhammad remain smiling. Looks like trying to solace from something he did not say even to his best friend Omar.

Because the answer "no" or "I'm fine" he felt was not sufficient anymore, the Prophet Muhammad lifted his robe to the stomach he looks real. Immediate Omar and friends stunned. His stomach looks so flat, the stomach is wrapped around the cloth that membuntal contain pebbles. Gravel-pebble that causes a noise when mengimami prayer. Pebbles that provoke thought Omar and his curiosity is in serious pain conditions.

"O Prophet," Umar voice quivering with a sense of pity and regret, "What if you said they were hungry and no food, we will not provide and prepare it for you?"

He closed his stomach with the dangling strands of her robes as she looked at Omar with a look full of radiant love that piece. "No, ya Umar. I know, whatever will you sacrifice for me, but what would I say in the presence of God as a leader later if I become a burden to my people? "

He circulated the view to the other companions and said, "Let this hunger as a gift from God for me for my people will not have that hunger in the world, especially in the hereafter."

Subhanallah, anyone who heard the sentence he immediately fell silent, there are berdenyar creeping into their eyeballs, some sobbing with emotion. Omar understood that he would not be able to go further, forcing him to follow her wishes.

Glory be to Allah who has sent a leader who is so noble character and his words. How we miss the leader as wise as he who does not want to burden his people. Later, leaders like these that will be shaded by the umbrella of God when there is no shade apart from Him.
