Jembatan Gantung Putus, 60 Orang Tercebur

YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Sekitar 60 orang terjebur di Sungai Progo dan dua sepeda motor hilang saat jembatan gantung yang menghubungkan Kampung Ngembek, Kelurahan Kramat Selatan, Magelang Utara, Kota Magelang dengan Desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah, putus, Selasa (1/11/2011) kemarin.

Salah satu korban selamat, Dahri (58), warga Dusun Kedon, Desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, menuturkan, kejadian bermula sekitar pukul 16.00 WIB, ratusan warga seperti biasa melintas jembatan sepanjang sekitar 100 meter dengan lebar 1,5 meter yang terbuat dari bambu. Tinggi jembatan dari dasar sungai sekitar 20 meter.

"Saat sedang melintas, tiba-tiba tali selang sebelah kiri yang dari arah Ngembek putus. Orang-orang pada jatuh ke sungai. Suasana riuh dan banyak yang bertakbir," ujarnya.

Ketika warga terjebur, ujar Dahri, lima menit kemudian sungai tersebut terjadi banjir akibat hujan deras yang mengguyur sebagian besar wilayah lereng Gunung Merbabu. Beruntunglah, warga yang terjebur bisa menyelamatkan diri dengan cara berenang ke tepi, dan dibantu oleh warga yang selamat. "Namun dua kendaraan yang terjatuh entah milik siapa, hilang terbawa arus,” katanya.


Dahri menyebutkan, saat kejadian, terdapat delapan kendaraan yang tergantung di jembatan, sedangkan dua lainnya jatuh dan hanyut. Menurutnya, jembatan itu dibangun tahun 1983. Sejak dibangun sudah dua kali putus, dan ini yang ketiga. “Jembatan ini ketika pagi dan sore saat jam berangkat dan pulang kerja memang banyak yang melintas,” ungkapnya.

Akibat kejadian tersebut, dua korban terpaksa dilarikan ke Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) RSJ Prof dr Soeroyo, Kota Magelang. Dua korban itu adalah Muhwari (46) warga Dusun Kedon, Desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, yang mengalami luka lebam di bagian perut sebelah kiri dan pundak kiri; dan Susyadi (31) warga Dusun Guntur, Desa Rejosari, Kecamatan Bandongan, yang mengalami luka lebam di bagian dada kiri.

Keduanya langsung dibawa pulang oleh pihak keluarga karena menurut dokter rumah sakit tersebut, kurban tidak mengalami luka serius, dan hanya dianjurkan rawat jalan. Akibat putusnya jembatan tersebut, kini warga terpaksa mencari jalur lain hingga jembatan ini diperbaiki kembali melalui Kampung Dumpoh, Kelurahan Potrobangsan, Kecamatan Magelang Utara, Kota Magelang.

Komandan SAR Magelang Heri Prawoto mengatakan, saat korban terjebur mereka langsung ditolong oleh warga sekitar dengan cepat sehingga tidak sampai hanyut terlalu jauh. "Tim SAR tiba di lokasi para korban sudah dievakuasi oleh warga, dan kami membantu mengevakuasi kendaraan yang terjebak di tengah jembatan dan menggantung di kawat sling," katanya.
