Inflasi di Yogyakarta Tertinggi di Jawa

YOGYAKARTA--MICOM: Inflasi di Kota Yogyakarta pada Maret sebesar 0,21 persen tercatat sebagai inflasi tertinggi di Pulau Jawa.

"Anomali musim dan bencana alam akibat erupsi Merapi ternyata masih menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi kondisi perekonomian di Yogyakarta disamping faktor perekonomian nasional seperti kebijakan pemerintah," kata Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) DIY Suharno dalam siaran pers Berita Resmi Statistik di Yogyakarta, Jumat (1/4).

Menurut dia, dari 23 kota di Pulau Jawa, terdapat tiga kota mengalami inflasi sedang sisanya mengalami deflasi. Selain Kota Yogyakarta, inflasi juga terjadi di Kota Surabaya sebesar 0,17 persen, sebaliknya Kota Tangerang dan Surakarta mengalami deflasi yang cukup besar yaitu 0,80 persen, sedangkan deflasi terkecil terjadi di Kota Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung dan Sumenep masing-masing 0,01 persen.

Suharno mengatakan, kenaikan indeks harga konsumen atau inflasi tersebut tercermin dari hasil pemantauan harga-harga yang dilakukan BPS. Dari tujuh kelompok pengeluaran komsumsi yang dihitung indeks harga konsumennya, enam kelompok pengeluaran mengalami kenaikan angka indeks, dengan kenaikan terbesar pada kelompok sandang sebesar 0,63 persen dan kelompok bahan baku mengalami kenaikan 0,47 persen.

Sedangkan kelompok pengeluaran yang mengalami penurunan angka indeks adalah perumahan, air, listrik, gas dan bahan bakar sebesar 0,01 persen. "Komoditas seperti telur ayam ras, jeruk, bawang putih dan juga perhiasan memberikan andil kenaikan harga," katanya.

Namun demikian, Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah (TPID) Yogyakarta mengatakan, tingginya inflasi pada Maret tersebut tidak harus diartikan sebagai sesuatu yang buruk. "Tingginya inflasi di Yogyakarta justru bisa diartikan bahwa ada kenaikan tingkat perekonomian di Yogyakarta. Jika ada deflasi bisa diartikan tidak ada peningkatan perekonomian di Yogyakarta," katanya. (Ant/OL-04)
