VIVAnews - Gubernur Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) Sri Sultan Hamengkubowono X meminta Pemerintah pusat mengakhiri masa tanggap darurat erupsi gunung Merapi.

Sultan Request To Stop Merapi Emergency

VIVAnews - Governor of Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) Sri Sultan Hamengkubowono X asked the Government to end the emergency response center eruption of Mount Merapi.

"My hope, in late April during the emergency to the Merapi eruption was over," said Sri Sultan in Yogyakarta, Thursday, May 9, 2011. Expiration of the emergency response is important so that the Government of DIY can implement recovery and reconstruction.

The case is still no cold lava flood, said the Sultan, there may be a new emergency response. "But the emergency response to cold lava, not the eruption of Merapi. Handling different," said Sultan.

According to him, if the emergency response Merapi eruption also removed, recovery and reconstruction can not walk because their funds could not be found at short notice from the departments. In fact, he said, people need economic return.

"As long as the emergency response that is responsible for National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB)," he said.
