PLN Gencarkan Program Grasss II

YOGYA (KRjogja.com) - PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) Area Pelayanan Jaringan Yogyakata menggencarkan Gerakan Sehari Sejuta Sambungan (Grasss) tahap kedua untuk meningkatkan layanan dan menuntaskan daftar tunggu tahun 2011 yang mencapai 1.500.


Hal tersebut diungkapkan Kepala PLN APJ Yogyakarta, Furqon Tanzala, Minggu (19/6) dan mengaku selama ini calon pelanggan belum terlayani permintaan penyambungan baru karena terbentur beberapa kendala seperti terbatasnya daya tampung pembangkit, overload trafo hingga perlu perluasan jaringan dari tegangan rendah ke tegangan menengah termasuk minimnya material.


"Selain menghabiskan daftar tunggu, Kamu juga mengimbau para petugas di lapangan tidak membiarkan masyarakat menunggu sambungan tanpa ketidakpastian. Tugas utama PLN adalah menyambung calon pelangan dengan cepat dan ini yang diutamakan dalam program Grasss," tandasnya.

Karena itu, Furqon berharap bisa melindungi masyarakat dari praktek curang dalam penyambungan baru sekaligus memuktikan kepada masyarakat bahwa penyambungan baru itu mudah dan cepat.


"PLN juga ingin menghapus keraguan masyarakat terhadap penggunaan Listrik Prabayar (LPB) yang sesungguhnya memiliki banyak kelebihan, berbagai kemudahan dan jauh lebih terkendali," tandasnya. (Fir)
