Ini Dia Delapan Sekolah Model PAI yang Berbasis Afeksi

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA - Sebanyak delapan sekolah di Kota Yogyakarta dari jenjang sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah atas menjadi model dalam penerapan Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis afeksi.

Kedelapan sekolah tersebut adalah, SMA Negeri 3, SMA Negeri 5, SMA Negeri 8, SMP Negeri 8, SMP Negeri 9, SMP Negeri 10, SD Negeri Giwangan dan SD Negeri Glagah.

"Pada awalnya, hanya ada tiga sekolah yang menerapkan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis afeksi yaitu SD Giwangan, SMP Negeri 9 dan SMA Negeri 5. Kemudian dilanjutkan lima sekolah lainnya pada 2010," kata Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kota Yogyakarta Edy Heri Suasana di Yogyakarta, Ahad (21/8).

Menurut dia, kedelapan sekolah tersebut akan menjadi model bagi sekolah-sekolah lain di Kota Yogyakarta dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis afeksi.

Edy mengatakan, seluruh sekolah di Kota Yogyakarta dari jenjang sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah atas dan yang sederajat telah menerapkan Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis afeksi pada 2011.

"Melalui pendidikan agama berbasis afeksi, siswa tidak hanya akan diberi materi pelajaran yang bersifat kognitif, tetapi juga menyentuh afeksi siswa yang bisa menumbuhkan kesadaran baru," katanya.

Menurut dia, kesadaran baru yang diharapkan tumbuh di dalam diri siswa melalui pendidikan agama yang berbasis afeksi tersebut adalah budi pekerti yang baik, kepribadian dan keterampilan siswa dalam mengamalkan ajaran agama masing-masing dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Ia menengarai, masih banyaknya tawuran yang melibatkan pelajar atau tawuran antar pelajar serta vandalisme yang dilakukan siswa kemungkinan disebabkan pendidikan agama yang masih bersifat kognitif.

Edy mengatakan, pendidikan berbasis afeksi tersebut memang masih diberlakukan untuk Pendidikan Agama Islam karena pedoman dan instrumen pembelajarannya sudah lengkap. Pada 2012 hingga 2016, Dinas Pendidikan Kota Yogyakarta bersama dengan pihak terkait akan melakukan pemantapan program pendidikan berbasis afeksi tersebut untuk pendidikan agama lain.

"Diharapkan, pada 2016 seluruh pendidikan agama sudah akan berbasis afeksi," lanjutnya.

Sementara itu, Wali Kota Yogyakarta Herry Zudianto mengatakan, gagasan untuk mewujudkan pendidikan agama berbasis afeksi tersebut berasal dari usulan masyarakat yang mengharapkan pendidikan budi pekerti dapat kembali diajarkan di sekolah.

"Di dalam pendidikan agama juga sudah mencakup pendidikan budi pekerti. Namun, pengajarannya yang perlu ditingkatkan. Tidak hanya menghafalkan, tetapi juga menyentuh nilai-nilai yang diamalkan ke berbagai aspek kehidupan," kata Herry.

Ia menambahkan, mengajarkan budi pekerti harus dimulai sejak dini sehingga hasilnya akan lebih baik, misalnya tumbuhnya kepedulian kepada orang tua dan lingkungannya.

Penilaian dalam pendidikan agama, lanjut dia, juga tidak hanya dilakukan guru kelas, tetapi orang tua juga harus terlibat sehingga siswa memiliki karakter yang benar-benar sesuai dengan ajaran agama masing-masing.

"Pembangunan manusia Indonesia yang sesungguhnya adalah melalui pembangunan karakternya," katanya yang kemudian mencontohkan seorang siswa yang berkarakter tidak akan membuang sampah sembarangan.
