REPUBLIKA.CO.ID,YOGYAKARTA--Tayangan televisi mengenai Ramadhan dinilai hanya sekadar hiburan berwajah "ibadah", karena program televisi pada bulan puasa itu paling banyak dikemas dalam kategori sinetron, kata peneliti dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Ratna Noviani.

"Dalam kajian yang dilakukan terhadap delapan stasiun televisi swasta ditemukan sembilan kategori program yang terkait tema Ramadhan. Di antara program tersebut, paling banyak dikemas dalam kategori sinetron," katanya di Yogyakarta, Jumat.

Menurut dia, program Ramadhan yang dikemas dalam kategori sinetron sebanyak 29 tayangan setiap hari, diikuti "infotainment" 15 tayangan, pengajian/dakwah (13), komedi (10), "reality show" (10), kuis (10), "feature" (8), musik (5), dan "talkshow" (1).

"Kajian mendalam terhadap kategori program bertema Ramadhan di delapan stasiun televisi swasta itu menunjukkan sebagian besar program berbentuk 'Ramadhan-tainment'," kata Ketua Pusat Studi Komunikasi dan Media Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) ini.
