YOGYAKARTA– PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk memutuskan membuka layanan ticketing online di Kantor Pos. Hal ini diwujudkan dalam nota kesepahaman (MoU) di antara kedua BUMN tersebut.

Penandatanganan MoU dilakukan oleh Direktur Utama Garuda Indonesia Emirsyah Satar dan Direktur Utama PT Pos Indonesia I Ketut Mardjana di Gedung Pos Indonesia di Jakarta. Layanan ticketing online berlaku di tujuh kantor cabang di Indonesia,salah satunya Yogyakarta. Enam kantor pos cabang yang lain adalah, Jakarta Selatan,Jakarta Timur,Jakarta Pusat, Solo, Bandung, Jambi, Semarang, Surabaya, dan Tanjungkarang. Khusus untuk Yogyakarta, peresmian ticketing online dilakukan oleh General Manager PT Garuda Indonesia Yogyakarta Didi Triatmojo dan Kepala Kantor Pos Besar Yogyakarta Arifin Muchlis.
Dalam sambutannya, Didi Triatmojo mengatakan, kerja sama dengan PT Pos Indonesia merupakan bagian dari komitmen Garuda untuk terus meningkatkan layanan kepada para pengguna jasa, khususnya memudahkan layanan pembelian tiket. Selain itu, kata dia, diharapkan Garuda dan PT Pos Indonesia sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Negera (BUMN) bisa semakin sinergis menjalankan fungsinya. “Penumpang makin mudah membeli tiket, check in sekaligus pembayaran. Selain itu, pengguna jasa juga dapat menikmati fasilitas self service.Calon penumpang dapat mengakses informasi penerbangan dan check in di booth yang teredia,” kata Didi di sela-sela penandatanganan MoU di Kantor Pos Besar,Yogyakarta,kemarin.
