Pemkab Sleman Optimalkan PNS

SLEMAN (KRjogja.com) - Pemerintah Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, akan mengefektifkan pegawai yang ada, karena tahun ini tidak merekrut lagi calon pegawai negeri sipil, setelah adanya moratorium yang menjadi kebijakan pemerintah pusat.

"Saat ini sedang dalam proses penghitungan, bagian mana yang harus dimaksimalkan dan yang harus dikurangi," kata Sekda Kabupaten Sleman Sunartono di Sleman.

Menurut dia, sebelumnya setiap tahun Pemkab Sleman mengajukan kuota untuk formasi calon pegawai negeri sipil (CPNS) ke pemerintah pusat rata-rata 500 CPNS. Namun, dari jumlah itu, hanya sekitar 50 persennya yang dikabulkan.

"Sebenarnya, Pemkab Sleman masih kekuarangan PNS, namun dengan adanya kebijakan tersebut, kami tidak akan membuka lowongan penerimaan CPNS," katanya.

Meski demikian, kata dia, meningkatkan kemampuan PNS guna memberikan pelayanan yang maksimal kepada masyarakat terus dilakukan, walaupun tidak ada pegawai baru pada 2011.

Ia mengatakan secara umum kondisi seperti itu tidak akan mengganggu pelayanan kepada masyarakat, dan kinerja PNS pun selalu terjaga dan ditingkatkan.

"Sebenarnya, secara umum Sleman masih mampu menambah pegawai. Moratorium itu hanya mengatur daerah yang belanja pegawainya melebihi 70 persen dari total anggaran, sedangkan Sleman hanya sekitar 61 persen," katanya.

Oleh karena itu, menurut dia, posisi tersebut dianggap masih aman, sambil menunggu kebijakan lanjutan dari pemerintah pusat, terkait dengan perekrutan CPNS.

Sunartono mengatakan saat ini sedang dilakukan penghitungan kebutuhan PNS di Pemkab Sleman, dan jika memang tidak bisa menerima CPNS lagi, maka kinerja PNS yang ada akan dimaksimalkan.

"Upaya meningkatkan kapasitas aparatur yang dilakukan Pemkab Sleman selama ini, sepenuhnya menjadi kewenangan Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD). Sebagai institusi yang berperan dalam bidang manajemen pegawai, BKD selalu melakukan pembinaan, pengembangan, penilaian, serta penempatan pegawai sesuai dengan klasifikasinya," katanya.(Ant/Tom)
